Toong Prong Tong
One of the highights of visiting Prasae in Rayong is the 2,400 acre mangrove forest along the coastline. This project is not only important to prevent land erosion but is also the source of income for local people who fish here for crab, shrimp and other marine animals. The mangrove also plays an important part in local ecotourism due to the 2.6km long boardwalk. The walk starts at HTMS Prasae and takes you through the forest and along the coastline. The highlights of the walk is Tung Prong Thong which means golden field in Thai.
Wat Pa Pradu
Wat Pa Pradu was constructed during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The main highlight of this community temple is an 3.60-meter-height, 11.95-meter-long left-sided reclining Buddha image (normally a reclining Buddha is right-sided), covered up with gold leaves. This difference is one reason the Buddha image is revered by the locals.
The name “Strawberry Town” represents sweet and bright characteristics of this town. The venue is designed to reflect distinctiveness of western architecture, with a lot of shops, coffee shops in colorful buildings. Ko Kloi Market
Koh Kloi Market can be seen as either an attraction or interesting market in Rayong. This market provide atmosphere of how a market in the community in the past is. Buildings are decorated with antique style – small wooden row houses along a pond. This market is also good for take a seat and relaxed for a while due to smoothly air flow. This market is also a place for interesting products such as antique items and hand-made accessories. There is also a food zone to support visitors.

A large aquarium with a tunnel allows visitors to visit various beautiful fishes as well as creatures living in the mangrove forest such as cuttlefish, crab, giant clam, and horseshoe crab. The outdoor aquarium also houses various marine lives such as turtle pond houses hawksbill turtles, olive turtles, and leatherback turtles. The fish pond houses large species of fish.
Most of the area is dense forest. The west is a steep cliff. The east and south are clean white sandy beach which good for swimming. The Eastern of the island perfect for both snorkeling and scuba. The island's prominent feature is its natural cape gap in the middle of the rock mountain with the sea through. Most of the tourist prefer a day trips to visit the island and then back to Koh Samet.

Rayong Surfing School
Here at Mae Ramphung beach we have the privilege of having an incredibly good surfing teacher from Australia, with his Thai wife who is a great surfing and surfing teacher. We have surfed ourselves and it was an experience. It is more physically demanding than you think. All recommendation to test if you inter have done it before. You will find the surfing school on our map.
Located in old town area of Rayong stretches along the Rayong River. Both sides of this street are restaurants, cafe, antique wooden house and the Rayong museum which is the intention of the Rayong old town conservative club, to collect antiques of the city of Rayong, ancient items such as crockery, television, radio, typewriter and other appliances, and monochrome photos that reflect the historical of Rayong. There is special event called "Poomburi" on saturday and sunday as an open pedestrian street, which will have many shops and performances along 650 meters of the road.

Fireflies boat trip
Boat trip along river through local fisherman's villages, in the night you will see the enchanting world of fireflies swarming in the trees.
Not only ncie beach, there are beautiful waterfall as well. This area is tropical rain forest which is the main source of water in Rayong, there are two major waterfalls, Kao Chamao waterfall and Klong Pla Kang waterfall.
The highlight in Kao Chamao waterfall is tousand of antimony fishes, Pa Sawan peak viewpoint on the top of the mountain, nature trail hiking, and stalactites and stalagmites.
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon Herbal Garden
PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) has established the first herb garden of Thailand since 1984 on the 60-rai area with the objective to preserve and develop the natural resources for the next generation. The garden has more than 260 medicinal herbs of about 20,000 herb trees which can be divided into 20 groups according to their medical prosperities. The garden serves as the source of Thai Herbal knowledge and the place for recreation.
Phra Samut Chedi Klang Nam
Located about 2 kilometers from Rayong city, the pagoda is built at the center of the isle at the mouth of the Rayong River. Even the origin of the pagoda which stands about 10 meters high is still unknown, but the myth has its said that the sailors once used it as the sign of arrival in Rayong.An annual celebration is held during November which features an exciting boat and Loy Krathong Festival. Rayong Adventure Park
The biggest balloon water park in east of Thailand, opposite of Central Rayong. Separated for adults and kids, lifeguards all over area. You can wear casual dress without zip, without button, unfade color.

Rayong Botanical Garden
Established as a research center to collect and conserve the plant resources in east past of Thailand. To be a source of knowledge, ecotourism destination and habitat of animals and plants which many species of endemic plants are rare.
